Math & Statistics Calculators
Math tools that only print an answer teach nothing and are impossible to check. Every calculator here shows the full solution path (the discriminant before the roots, the expected counts before the chi-square statistic, the substitution steps in completing the square), so you can follow the work, spot where your own attempt diverged, and learn the method. Formulas come from standard references: university course materials and the NIST/SEMATECH e-Handbook of Statistical Methods.
The statistics tools compute p-values directly instead of pointing you to a lookup table, and they state the assumptions each test makes (sample independence, normality, minimum expected counts), because a test run outside its assumptions gives misleading results. These are homework helpers and research aids, not substitutes for understanding: check your steps against the shown work, and when a real study rides on the answer, confirm the analysis with someone who does statistics for a living.
Quadratic Equation Solver
Roots (real or complex, in exact and decimal form), discriminant, vertex, and factored form, with every step shown.
Complete the Square Calculator
Transform ax² + bx + c into vertex form step by step, with exact fractions at every stage.
t-Test Calculator
One-sample, Welch two-sample, or paired: t statistic, degrees of freedom, and exact p-values from your data.
Chi-Square Test Calculator
Goodness of fit and independence tests with expected counts shown and small-cell warnings.
